If you see a cream-colored Vino scooter around town, chances are it belongs to the new Cambridge Wines at the Highlands at Morristown Station.

Cambridge offers wine and beer delivery service directly to the tables of the town’s BYOBs, as well as private residences.

What will you have? Be there in a minute.

“The scooter is a big hit,” said Cambridge co-owner David Bernat.

Cambridge Wines, which had a soft opening in the beginning of August, will hold it’s grand opening 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Morristown Mayor Timothy Dougherty will cut the ribbon and there will be wine tastings, music and more. Also, the Parsippany-based Lingua e Sapori, which merges Italian cooking demos with Italian language classes, will be holding an olive oil tasting at the opening.

Customer service is the key at Cambridge, said Bernat.

“We encourage customers to expand their palates,” Bernat said. “Take a bottle, try it and like it. We keep records on everybody who buys here and we’ll build a portfolio and we’ll find the right bottle for you.”

There’s a tasting bar in the store that’s always open, Bernat said. There are more than 400 labels of wine at Cambridge and they have the city’s largest selection of craft beer, he said.

“It’s our job to introduce you to new and different wines,” Bernat said.
