Open to the public, The NY Film Critics Series presents private, preview full-length screenings followed by a live discussion. They have expanded the program format to include high caliber films, guests and audience discussion now with a different host each week. ‘We strongly feel that this will bring a fresh, new insightful perspective to the preview film experience of the better movies not ordinarily available at the multiplexes,’ says organizers Ira and Mark Ehrenkranz.
‘Our plans are to have a variety of premier film analysts who will alternate each week. They will present a detailed introduction to the films and conduct an in-depth interview thoroughly exploring content and structure with our nightly featured guests,’ adds Ira Ehrenkranz, an esteemed member of the NJ State Film Commission.
The Fall 2011 line-up includes: Peter Travers of ABC-TV, CNN and Rolling Stone Magazine, Owen Gleiberman of Entertainment Weekly Magazine, Alison Bailes of NBC-TV and the New Ebert ‘At The Movies Show’.

Why travel to small art houses or crowded NY theaters when you can privately experience pristine prints of the highest quality on a big screen with a state-of-the-art sound system before everyone else?’ suggests Mark Ehrenkranz.
