Eric Hafen, artistic director of The Bickford Theatre, has announced the lineup for its next main-stage season, which also marks the 10-year anniversary of Hafen taking over the professional theater company in residence at the Morris Museum.

The 2011-12 season will open Sept. 22 with the New Jersey premiere of “The Last Days of Mickey and Jean,” a new comedy by Richard Dresser (“Rounding Third”). The Bickford’s 17th season continues Nov. 17 to Dec. 4 with Hafen directing “Over the River and Through the Woods,” a family comedy by Joe DiPietro, whose “I Love you, You’re Perfect, Now Change” was a big hit here a few seasons back.
